Selecting the date to organize a calendar by

I have a project management database that has a few different date fields (start date, timeframe and due date) -- we could probably consolidate those fields, and use "time frame" and "due date" the same, but one is a firm deadline and the other is a useful organizing tool.

When I create a "calendar" view of projects, it seems to be organizing each item by the "timeframe" property, but I'm not 100% sure that's the case.

So how do I know which date field a calendar is organized by, and can I change that to use a different date field?

In your database do the following.

1- Click the 3 dots ...
2- Select Design (Layout)
3- Choose the show calendar by you want

It must be a date property to work in calendars.

I thought I had looked everywhere but apparently I did not look at the "Layout" options.

In this case I had to look for the setting slider and choose "Layout" -- that let me show the calendar by the field I wanted.
