I have a lot of pages that have a callout block, like "This is a potential project for our internship program."

I can go to the internship program page and see all the backlinks but I'd actually love to add a block of backlinks to the internship program page so that when I tag a page with a link to the internship program, the page automatically appears in the backlinks.

Is there any way to do that?

You want the internship page to show a live list of pages that mention it, as a block, not the backlinks panel at the top.

That panel is the whole feature. There is no backlinks block you can drop in. A callout that links to the internship page still only feeds that panel.

If you want a list on the page: those project pages need to be in a database, with a relation to Internship. Then a linked view of that database, filtered to related. Mentions in a callout will not fill that view.

A callout is a note. A relation is a list.
