I have a recipes db into which I like to create entries using the Notion Webclipper while surfing the web. I have categories like dessert or drinks etc. and usually attribute icons depending on the category - is there a way to attribute the same icon to multiple entries at once?

In a Notion table view select all the items you want to modify and a pop-up menu will show.

Click the dots to see more options and there you have icon.
